I will seek and find you . . .

I shall take you to bed and have my way with you .

I will make you ache, shake & sweat until you moan & groan.

I will make you beg for mercy, beg for me to stop.

I will exhaust you to the point that you will be relieved when I'm finished with you.

And, when I am finished, you will be weak for days.

All my love,

The Flu

EWWWWW! Get back!

(I was reading The Great Influenza, but had to put it aside for a while when I realized it was depressing me too badly.)

You know, it's bad that whenever the BBC or CNN International shows a story about the bird flu, "The Flu Pandemic" lyrics immediately pop into my head......

But you're doooooooomed. They always pop into my head. We're stuck with it for life, I think.

Better that than the flu itself.

I lost 2 great grand parents to the Great Influenza Epidemic in the early 1900's. My maternal grandmother and her brother were raised in the Masonic Home for Orphans because of it. Blessed Be, Angelique

As I have been reading the book on it, I have been meaning to call my parents and ask them if we had relatives who died in it. It seems we must have, the numbers were so high. I haven't heard any stories like yours for my family. (And I would have heard them - very Masonic family)

I can't get the flu, I don't have time. Also, I do have lots and lots of vitamins and herbs. The bugs will look at my collection of bottles and give up and find an easier target.

... and now you claim you are not prepared
So much to do, you can not be spared;
Still your entreaties Death will not hear.

The graveyard is filled with important men,
Who could not be spared; but were, in the end...

I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
