I will grant, I like reading the train-wreck that is Baby's Named a Bad, Bad Thing

But this one is nutty:

Name-dropping keeps city's moniker monitor on the hop

"Under the fluorescent lights of the Civil Court clerk's office, Dalton Conley made his request: he wanted to change his four-year-old son's name to Yo Xing Heyno Augustus Eisner Alexander Weiser Knuckles Jeremijenko-Conley." (bolding mine)

I'm going to have to come back to these names later. The board started out as an entertaining read. I believe I have now been scarred by the experience.

This has killed any desire I may have had to give my child a "unique" name. Bring on the traditional names!

Knuckles?

My family was cured of any such impulses because of the difficulties suffered by my Aunt Blossom. Nope, not a Power Puff Girl, that's what they named my mother's middle sister. Can't even blame a drunk parent since this was in the height of Prohibition.

I don't suppose it said WHY he wanted the child's name changed to that? Inquiring minds WANT to know. Blessed Be, Angelique

I suspect "acid" had something to do with the decision.....
