The architecture can best be described as equal parts "You can't get there from here" and "You're in a maze of twisty passages, all alike."

I now know where lab equipment goes to die.

Yes, there are rumours of escapees from various failed biology experiments lurking in dark corners, preying on those hapless enough to find them. But there's a lot of dark corners, so the chances of actually finding one are slim.

I wish I had an Elder Sign to bring to work.

There are over 1200 people working at the Institute. There are 600 parking spaces. You do the math.

There are BBQ's next to the animal labs. I don't think I want to ask why.

The more letters someone has after their name, the more they think they know about computers.

The more letters someone has after their name, the farther they should be kept away from computer equipment.

A Nobel Laurelate has the ability to crash a mail server using an Etch-A-Sketch.

The food in the cafeteria is both surprisingly good and surprisingly cheap.

Sunset over the ocean is quite pretty. The parasailers from the gliderport next to us add to that.

Mad Scientists claim that they weren't understood at the Institute. They're right - but they don't realize that they're no different from any other scientist there.

Seeing Radhazard, Biohazard, and toxic waste warnings on the drums next to equipment storage is normal, and shouldn't be worried about - except to be glad you don't work in those labs.
