How does it make you look? Hot. Of course.

But it seems a little long on you. They usually don't go past the knees.

Enjoy!

JOhn.

(chuckles) Thanks.

Yeah, it's a bit past the knees. But it's a short actually, believe it or not. It's just the length in my legs is below my knees.

(chuckle) will see what I can do.

Threatening to get a black one to wear with my black Imperial Officer's tunic..... :-)

That would probably look pretty good actually.. although I think the green suits you quite well.

As the daughter says,

Up with kilts!

More men should wear them. Many more. And much more often.

What was the question?

OH! Yeah, I like it!

I think that carpeting is truly horrendous. Oh, you meant what do I think of the kilt?

Yes, that carpetting is horrendous. It makes you want to walk on it. Stomp upon it. Tread on it into submission.

And the kilt looks comfy. Yay, kilts!

Very dashing! I like it.

BTW, welcome back to the States!

Way to go! I concur with the carpeting comment, above; it's horrible.

The UK, on the other hand.... None too shabby. I can't tell by the picture if it's the olive green or just weird lighting on black.

It appears to hang a bit long, but you've addressed the issue above. It may be a bit weird to sit cross-legged or *run* if it's *too* long.

I feel inspired to wear one of mine, today. Which one, though?

Awesome. I'd have gone for brighter colors myself, but you know what you look best in. :)

(Actually, I'd have gone for the black leather. :))

It needs something other than the t shirt, though. What shirt goes best with a kilt?

Yay Utilikilts!

I'm getting himself one as a late birthday gift in a couple weeks; a denim one.

I'm liking the "[livejournal.com profile] patgund-in-a-kilt" look, but it truly does look as though it's longer than it should be. Probably camera angle or similar, though. (Or the fact that you're leaning on the pillar.)

Looks good, though. :)

Not too shabby! I favor sarongs, myself... although this does appear to have the advantage of pockets.

Not bad. I've been considering getting one in black. I'm afraid that, from the picture, that green looks a little to close to OD Green for me. Mind you, [profile] ducorbeau wants me to get the leather one, but I don't have the $700+ to spare. I agree that the carpeting is horrendous.

Oh, yeah -- at the Scottish Festival at the Queen Mary recently, I saw that they had kilts made from the same sort of nylon that gym shorts are frequently made of. Somehow I don't think I'd have the chutzpah to go to the gym in one.
