Note to self:

When the label says "dishwasher detergent", make sure they're talking about safe for *automatic* dishwashers, as opposed to "won't take the skin of your third-worlder maid or houseboy, assuming you have one, since anyone who's anyone does".

Which explains the 1-2cm of water and foam I just mopped up in the kitchen.....

I did that once with my folks washing machine, not realizing there was a difference between detergents. They were less than pleased, and even moreso because it was a fairly new machine.
