What to do for the weekend......

I could:

a) Go to City Centre Mall, and see "Pirates of the Caribbean 2", knowing that this will be edited, anything smacking of a love scene will be cut out, anything dealing with anti-Islamic values will get cut out, and it will have subtitles, and I can see an unedited version soon. (assuming we don't get any more warden calls to recommend US expats stay indoors)

Or:

b) Stay in my flat, finally watch my "Battlestar Galactica" (new series) DVD's, order a pizza, clean and pack, and veg.

I vote for veg-ing out. But my vote doesn't count because I ALWAYS vote for veg-ing out. OTOH, you might get about two hours of enjoyment watching Pirates 2, other than the parts you know are being censored. With the DVD set, you get as many hours of enjoyment as you can 1) stand, 2) have disks for, 3) can stay awake for.

Well, I had seen the mini-series, but didn't have a chance to see the series save for the odd part of an episode here and there, I have the season 1 DVD's and the first half of season 2, and I managed to hook my fellow SysAdmin at work on them (grin), so I figured it was time for me to watch them finally.

Then I vote even MORE for plan b! The new battlestar and the new dr who are, imo, the best SF tv series to have come out in the past year or two...

(chuckle) No real surprises, it's generic Pizza Hut. (The local Little Ceasars was closed due to health violations though)
