Besides the obvious humor, there's the possibility that this is traditional snobbery in a land where tradesman and other commoners were expected to use the back entrance . . .
But when i first saw the sign, I damned near bust a gasket laughing.
If it's been Photoshopped or ImageFXed, it's a very convincing job.
