patgundOne thing I realized about the current military call up.
Since I live in San Diego, which both a) has a large military population, and b) is starting to have an overbuild of apartments.
Apartments that are starting to become vacant as troops get called up, and spouses move to be with their families rather than alone in SD.
Apartment owners are already offering special deals, but it's really only a matter of time before rents have to start dropping.
If I can't find someplace in LA to work at, and have to remain in SD for a while, at least I should be able to find a decent apartmemt that might be closer to work.
