Road Trip.......

patgundLooking over the Wikipedia entry on US Highway 395
Now I've driven the designed and decommissioned parts of it in San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. (Centre City Parkway in Escondido still has a 395 mile marker at a bridge). And driven 395 as far as Ridgecrest.
However, I didn't realize it went all the way up to the US/Canadian border, joining with BC 395 in the West Kootenays
Hmmmm......I smell possible road trip this spring or summer. Say 395 up, BC Highway 3 West to Hope, catch the Trans-Canada over to Vancouver, then BC 99 to the border, and US 99 / I-15 down again.
This bears some thinking
