Tired, but well.

patgundWell, my plan was to spend a day or so up in San Bernardino, celebrating my 37th birthday by playing with my daughter, who turned all of 16 months old on my birthday.
That was before my friend Jim called up to ask when I was going to be by their house on sunday for my birthday. This was news to me......and it seems news to his lady wife and several of our friends, all of which he assumed he invited and all got calls at the last minute. I would call this an oops in planning.
That being said, I spent my birthday up in Receda with my daughter, her family, and an assorted batch of friends. Jim, Susan & John chipped in and got me a $50 gift card for Barnes & Noble, Aedwin got me a glow-in-the-dark cup and a lego set. Jim showed off his cake decorating class lessons with a cake made up like a processor board. Fairly nice evening, all in all.
