Actually, they shoulda sprung for one of those 'intelligent' japanese toilets that automatically flush, wash you with warm water, etc etc...

Also, with all that crap, they shoulda put on a padded seat. It will be VERY uncomfortable gaming/surfing/whatnot after 20-30m on a regular seat!! ^0^

That's what I didn't understand. They jacked all this crap to a basic US standard toilet, rather than one of those does everything but sample your DNA Japanese ones.
