Out of the mouths of children......

We got to the point in Episode II where they give emergency powers to Palpatine, and he's saying how he loves democracy and will give the powers up when the crisis ends....

And my daughter takes that point to repeat the title line from a children's book; "If you give a mouse a cookie"............

Perfect timing.....

She's at that wonderful age where you can't figure out how much of it is keen insight being developed, and how much of it is wonderful co-incidence. If it's any consolation, she won't be certain which it is for years either.
