6pm on monday I got a call. My daughter had managed to pull a hot cup of tea down on herself, and was being rushed to ER. I quickly grabbed an overnight bag and drove up to SB.

She's doing well, and is in very little danger. She has 2nd degree scalding over35% of her torso, but is otherwise unharmed. She is expected to be out of hospital in 24-48 hours.

Details as I get them

Oh, *no*!! I'm so sorry. (My brother did the same thing when he was little.) You have my best thoughts winging your way.

You all have been in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for posting in your LJ. If you hadn't I wouldn't have known what happened and been even more worried when you weren't online yesterday. Blessed Be, Angelique
