Transit Joys.....
May. 16th, 2007 04:30 pmMy, you encounter some of the most interesting people on mass transit......
There's a reason I don't like leaving after 6pm on days I take the train / bus in. In part because I won't get back to Monrovia until after 8:30pm, and hanging around some of the transfer stations (particularly the blue line / green line transfer point) as it gets dark doesn't rate high on my list of fun things to do.
But a lot of it is the people on the train / bus.
For the most part, I'm used to the people having long conversations with individual air molecules.
Today was the woman who paid a fare for herself AND her stuffed toy monkey, and proceeded to spend the trip having a quarrel with the monkey
Whee!
