I've said before that politcal discourse in this country would be improved if someone had the courtesy to shove bowling balls down the throats of Randi Rhodes and Michael Savage.

Rosie O'Donnell and Bill O'Reilly also need 16 pound brunswicks shoved down their throats too.

I'm paraphrasing someone else's idea to put this forth...and I forget whose idea it originally was, so I'm crediting them best I can here; thanks, whoever you are.

As a nation, America really needs to stop treating celebrities as political pundits; most of them haven't the wit or intelligence to actually have a knowledgeable opinion about what color shoes to wear, much less to put forth erudite and knowledgeable political discourse.

Might be nice if America stopped making political pundits into celebrities, as well; it appears as if the bigger they get, the more infallible they think their worldview is.
