patgundSeems like parts of LA have all gone "Watts Riots / Rodney King Riots, version 3.0" I keep hearing more sirens, the fire trucks keep going by, there's smoke over parts of Culver City, and we've even seen some Humvees pass by.
Kinda starting to wish my 9mm was in my car or backpack rather than back at my flat. Or maybe a good dagger or two. California's idiot weapons laws strike again.
Why do I feel like it's gonna be a long day here?
One advantage of being an old highway buff. I know enough of the surface streets and the like that I may be able to bypass freeways and smaller surface streets to get back to my flat. That is, if we are seeing riots.
Still no news though. Something on BBC and CNN about viral outbreaks. Revenge of the Bird Flu??
On the other hand, Astronomy Picture of the Day has some REALLY beautiful shots of that meteor fall last night, taken from the ISS and Atlantis.
