At least he admits his administration broke the law. Even if he seems to be going "Yeah, we broke the law, no we're not sorry, no, we don't care."

Bush admits administration leaked CIA name

"President Bush on Thursday acknowledged publicly for the first time that someone in his administration likely leaked the name of a CIA operative, although he also said he hopes the controversy over his decision to spare prison for a former White House aide has "run its course."

"And now we're going to move on," Bush said in a White House news conference.

The president had initially said he would fire anyone in his administration found to have publicly disclosed the identity of Valerie Plame, the wife of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson and a CIA operative. Ten days ago, Bush commuted the 30-month sentence given to I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby by a federal judge in connection with the case.

Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, had been convicted of lying and obstruction of justice in the CIA-leak case."

Let me see...

He already said he would punish anyone in his administration involved.
Then he reduces Libby's sentence.
Now he's saying he knew all along?

OMG, he admitted to this in a national news conference too.. No wonder I can't get to half the news service websites from work. King George has effectively said, "hey America, fuck you" and put himself above the law.

Yet more proof that the man's delusional.

Fuck no, I'm not ready to move on...

because we think he's a lame duck president, except that with the way he is, I'm not entirely sure he won't attempt to suspend them. And the only reason why I think we shouldn't impeach him is 'cause, well, Cheney is next in line.

I'm not sure if Cheney isn't already calling a lot of the shots. IMHO it would be better to bring him out of the shadows and into the spotlight.

Not real sure why anyone's surprised.

But then I'm a child of Watergate [wry g]. I don't believe in politicians. By definition.
