Silly Segway thread

Me: Was amused. Then at work, someone pulled into the parking lot on a segway. First time I had seen one in the wild like that

Them: in the wild, indeed - you make it sound like the serengeti!

Me: (Laugh!)

Me: But it sounds better than "first tiem I had seen one outside of a trade show or rigged demo"

Them:I'm picturing Discovery channel documentaries, with cameramen following the elusive segway, and tranquilizer darts involved somehow

Me:"Here on the plains of the Serengeti, we see the peaceful antelope grazing on the lush savanah grass. Suddenly, the wily segway bursts out of it's lair in the tall grass and gives chase to the antelope, eventually running it down."

Me:"The segway then beeps it's call, and it's young, unsteady on their wheels, come rolling out of the grass to partake of this bounty. Looking like small fisher-price push toys, the immature segways push and jostle for their place at the feast it's parent has brought to them"

That's a nature special that would get good ratings. I'd pay to see that rabbit done in.
