I confess I'm using NeoOffice and hate it (it is seriously slow and laggy) but I might be using an outdated version, I'm not sure.

I use NeoOffice and I haven't had a lot of problems with it, and OpenOffice on my desktop PC. I think, though, you need to have a fair amount of memory because NeoOffice and OpenOffice both have a Java component.

Neo worked batter than the XWindows/non-Java versions of OO, for me, once the Wacky Java Issues I was having went away. IM me later if you want details; i'm leaving work RSN.

Isn't NeoOffice is just OpenOffice with extensions?

It's actually a version of OpenOffice that's written to be more OS X specific
