It has come to my attention that several people have misunderstood something.

In the past, I have referred to my daughter as Little Bit.

There is also a four year old boy that was done as a surrogacy for her former cousin-in law, which I have in the past called Littlest Bit.

A few days ago, I posted a picture of Little Bit, and said it was sent by Littlest Bit's adoptive parents.

Some people read that wrong, and thought I was implying that my daughter was being given up for adoption.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

It seems that some person or people may have used that post to start a very nasty rumor.

Said rumour is simply NOT TRUE.

If anyone has been hurt by said rumour, then I deeply and sincerely apologize for that hurt. It was not now or ever my intention to give anyone the impression that Little Bit was being given up for adoption or abandoned, and I deeply apologize for the pain that impression may have given - and deeply loathe those who have may have twisted my words to fit their agenda.

It was not my intent to provide fodder for the rumor trolls.

If anyone wishes to discuss this matter with me or clarify it further, please let me know ASAP.

Why the hell are you apologizing? Some jackass twisted your words and started hateful, hurtful rumors about you and your daughter.

Anyone who *knows* you knows the difference bewteen LittleBit and LittlestBit. For someone to start all this shit becuase they can't READ is insane. You have NOTHING to apologize for, nor do you need to explain yourself or any of the decisions you and BitMum have made. About the only person who has a right to question anything at this point is seattlejo. No.One.Else.

For whatever it is worth (I don't run in your circles and thus haven't heard or been party to any rumors), when I read the post in question, I did a bit of a double take. Then I took the time to read it again. When I saw "littlEST bit" I knew it was someone different. I don't think anyone who knows you (even through your blog like I do) would think for a minute you would turn your back on your parenting of your little one. Hugs on getting through the nastiness of some people, and congrats on having a support system strong enough to nip it in the bud AND to know better without even thinking twice.
