"TOOTSIE the hermaphrodite pony's nightmare is finally over - after undergoing a sex change, finding a new home and settling down with a donkey called Derek.
The Shetland pony lived for 12 years with his owners thinking he was female.
The beast, who has both male and female genitalia, even went by the name of Amy.
But now Tootsie - named after Dustin Hoffman’s cross-dressing character in the film classic - finally appears to be settling in after a rocky start at the Bransby Home of Rest for Horses, near Lincoln."
