I'm watching the movie "Thunderbirds Are Go!", and the thought comes to my mind.....

Can you imagine how complex Saturn V (or Shuttle, or ANY NASA vehicle) launches would have been if Gerry Anderson had been in charge of design and development???

Well, at least the LM and CM wouldn't be just jammed in, have to do the rendevous, undocking, redocking, etc etc. I could see an Anderson version being a sleek rocket with a giant "1" on it. Then when it gets to the moon, bay doors open and an equally sleek vehicle with a giant "2" on it emerges and descends to the moon for tea with Lt. Ellis...
