patgundIt does make sense about that character. (though I'm sure it will give some groups yet more reasons to hate the series - as if they needed anymore.)

Okay, so Dumbledore is gay. It does explain certain aspects about the character, and makes his view on love more understandable. He lost his beloved, (and had to defeat him magically) rather than turn to the Dark Arts, which ALSO explains why he was such a strong opponent to the Dark Arts and those who practiced them.
It IS going to fuel those who already try to ban the books though - not to mention that they're going to claim that the only reason why Dumbledore was trying to mentor Harry was because he was trying to get under Harry's quiddich robes. *Sigh*
