This afternoon Little Bit and I ended up exploring a bit.

We ended up at the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie. For a train-mad little girl, this was a treat indeed. We also took a driving tour of oddly-familar looking Snoqualmie and North Bend, and I passed and stopped in a familar looking place where one could get cherry pie and a "Damn fine cup o' coffee!".

Around the point we were in the cafe, Little Bit lost her wiggly front tooth. Hopefully the tooth fairy doesn't come though the red room tonight.....

Then down to Bellvue, which mostly seemed closed for business today. However, we did get to Half-Price books, were children's books were procured. (If you give a bit a book, she's gonna want a.....)

Dinner ended up at the McD playpark in Ballard.

All in all a good day.

Sounds like a nice day :)

It must've been neat driving through and realizing it was "Twink Peaks" LOL. I loved that show.. and I really love "Falling" by Julee Cruise.. actually I like the whole soundtrack.

I'm wishing you a stress-free (or at least lower stress) week. *smile*

If you'd gone over the pass and down the other side a bit (admittedly not a good thing to try this time of year), you could have visited Cicely, Alaska, too (aka Roslyn, just outside of Cle Elum).

I've been through Snoqualmie a few times, but never to the Railway Museum. Might have to do that one of these days.
