It really IS all about her, isn't it??

So let me get this straight. At this point, Sen. Obama is leading in delegates over Sen. Clinton. So what does the Clinton camp do??

First off - attack Obama by claiming he's not "ready to be commander in chief". (Wow, I must have missed Sen. Clinton's military experience. Seems to me Sen. Obama has as much experience as President's Clinton & Reagan had when entering the office. Or even the current Deserter in Chief.)

And then hint that Sen. Obama would make a "wonderful VP choice". Which seems odd coming from someone who's IN SECOND PLACE!

Wow. Just wow.

Reagan was in the Army. He got drafted, he served. While I don't regard him as the near-deity some of my colleagues do, I've been reading his letters and warming up to him a lot, even if there are quite a number of issues in which he and I would never have seen eye-to-eye.

As far as experience goes, Obama has four more years in politics than Hilary Clinton does.

Reagan voluntarily enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1937. He was commissioned in 1940 and was on Active Duty during WW2. His bad eyesight kept him from going overseas, but he still did his job.

I was under the impression that the closest Reagan got to military was acting in WW2 service films. I stand corrected.

He did do films for the Army, but that was his MOS.

As I said, I stand corrected on Reagan.

And I just can't count eight years as first lady as experience. No matter what she says. Besides which, how many world leaders who were in office during her husband's terms are STILL in office??

Sorry, doesn't wash for me.

Oh, let's be charitable. She was on the board of many a childrens' charity too. /sarcasm

And WalMart, can't forget that corporate world experience /sarcasm

Anymore, I truly think Hillary Clinton would switch parties, tomorrow, if she thought that would get her elected.

I simply do not think there is a single principle she would uphold, if it was politicaly expedient for her to jettison it. She's got a weathervane in place of her ethics, and is quite willing to destroy her party if she doesn't get what she sees as HER due.

If she gets the nomination, maybe she could pick Lieberman for a running mate. They have the same ego and willingness to abandon their party if it gives them a chance of winning
