End of term party becomes village square orgy

"Witnesses said that around 200 youths gathered in and around the village hall in Wray, Lancashire, which is a few miles from the school. The event, to celebrate the end of Year 11, had been organised by pupils, although the village hall committee had understood that an adult had taken responsibility for the booking.

Alan Day, the village hall chairman, said: "All hell let loose at this event. The children were drunk to the eyeballs. They were having sex in the village square standing up."

I would have killed to have that be one of my high school rituals. Come to think of it, I wouldn't have minded killing being one of the rituals, too.

Yes, it is just so much more wrong to have sex standing up than lying down . . .

As for the children being drunk, well, I understand that the drinking age limit is much lower in England.

Within limits, I think I side more with the kids than the shocked adults on this one, even if I don't approve of what they're doing.
