Much of the plot of any kid's movie from the 80's (or indeed many Disney live-action films) can be summed up in that phrase, modified slightly to pluralize "I" or singularize "those meddling kids."
Well, 90 minutes of the Goonies is significantly better than some 40 freaking years of that terrible show. I swear, every 20 min episode had the same script, and the script sucked in the first place.
