Well, Worldcon WOULD be dependant on that whole employment thing. I'm not one of these fans/SCAians/Fairefolk/whatever that blows rent and food money on conventions/wars/faires/whatever. :-)

I believe it was you who turned me on to the Avenue Q soundtrack...and this weekend I met someone who isn't my girlfriend, but she's somebody's girlfriend, and makes me think of "My Girlfriend Who Lives In Canada". Since she's even Québecois, this may be a Sign.
Then again, if there's a Sign that has you planning to cope with it months or a year in advance, isn't that scary?
