Weird Fun......

Last summer I got a copy of "Weird California", which was a wonderful collection of stuff off the beaten track in California.

Well, I found this week "Weird Washington", which is just as much fun for this state as well.

I think I want to see about getting "Weird Texas", "Weird England", and "Weird Las Vegas & Nevada"

Someone who likes exploring on old roads and highways like finds this stuff massive fun. :-)

I have a small beef with the guys who write the "Weird somplace" books. When they were writing the book for California, I offered them up various story teasers for it (well in advance of the submittal date) I knew the date and details because my publisher at the time for abandoned sites photos was a contributing author and photographer for the "Weird Taxas" book. When my relationship with that publisher broke down due to personal issues, she effectively blackballed me with the authors. That is why there's only two stories from Southern California in the entire book.
