Now those are funky harps......

Found this maker on the harp community.

Basically the gentleman makes lever harps using carbon fibre, leather, and aluminium alloy monocoque, in addition to more traditional materials. The result being a stronger and lighter harp, at least according to the maker.

That being said, my Gods, those are the funkiest looking harps I've ever seen. Especially the "Keridwen" and "Metatron" models. Have *no* idea how they would sound. Very SF feel to the design.

Ookay, based on this post in mock_the_stupid, someone has more issues than National Geographic....

(OBBujold reference - I'm reminded somehow of the comment in "Ethan of Athos" where Ethan comments about the occasional immigrant to Athos having mental stability problems.....)
