patgund: (Hello Kosh)
Should I be more disturbed over:

A) The fact that Museum Replicas is offering replicas of "Excalibur" and "The Sword of the Black Knight" from offering "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"

B) That there's a market for such??

C) Knowing my friends, many will want such???

(They are also selling replicas of the helmets of King Arthur, Sir Bedevere, The Black Knight, *and* surcoats for the Black Knight, Sir Robin, Sir Lancelot, King Arthur (and Patsy), Sir Bedevere, and Sir Galahad. Yes, you can be scared now......)

Yes, that was a quake almost an hour ago. A 5.1, about 60 miles from where I work.

Amazing when you realize that the concrete building that the lab is in shook and rolled.

There's some concern from CalTech it may be a foreshock. Goodness knows that several faultlines in the SD area are a couple of centuries overdue for one.

[livejournal.com profile] caprine posted this link to a post on the [livejournal.com profile] dot_poly_snark. While the writer does rif on furries a bit, I read it as more of a commentary on "Fanboys" in general. Apologizes in advance if any furries (or anyone else) is offended.

Horribly wrong funny filk of a T.S. Eliot poem here
