So far this week I've posted about the "Chili Lava" burger that Hardee's-Qatar is selling.

I've posted about "Baseball's Best Burger" (with Krispy Kreme bun) being sold by a baseball team.

So, to complete the trifecta, I bring to you Hardee's-USA latest:

The Philly Cheesesteak Thickburger

" As if the Hardee's family of Monster Thickburgers doesn't offer enough meat, the company's latest version adds steak meat on top of an already large slab of beef.

The meat-on-meat Philly Cheesesteak Thickburger, launched Wednesday, features one-third of a pound of Angus beef, along with both Swiss and American cheeses, green peppers and onions. And piled atop all of that is thinly sliced steak meat."

"Star Trek" franchise set for 2008 revival: report

"More than three years after the last "Star Trek" movie crashed at the box office, the venerable sci-fi franchise is being revived by the director of the upcoming "Mission: Impossible" sequel, Daily Variety reported in its Friday edition.

The as-yet-untitled "Star Trek" feature, the 11th since 1979, is aiming for a fall 2008 release through Paramount Pictures, the Viacom Inc. unit looking to restore its box-office luster under new management, the trade paper said.

The project will be directed by J.J. Abrams, whose Tom Cruise vehicle "Mission: Impossible III" will be released by Paramount on May 5. Abrams, famed for producing the TV shows "Alias" and "Lost," will also help write and produce.

Daily Variety said the action would center on the early days of "Star Trek" characters James T. Kirk and Mr. Spock, including their first meeting at Starfleet Academy and first outer-space mission."

The problem with stereotypes at times, is that they can sometimes be painfully true......

'Watch This!" Man Injured In Waterfall Jump

"A Georgia man was hospitalized after jumping from the side of Alabama's DeSoto Falls and plunging 150 feet before hitting the water.

The leap wasn't a suicide attempt since several witnesses reported that prior to the plunge, the man yelled, "Watch this.""

I guess the witnesses missed the "hold my beer" part of that statement as well.....
