Thieves Steal 14-Foot Inflatable Sheep

"America's Mattress co-owner Jim Sather is left puzzled after a rustler stole Serta Mattresses' inflatable 14-foot sheep from their store here.

"I can't figure out what someone would do with a 14-foot sheep," Sather said. "It can't go in your basement and if it's in your back yard, your neighbor will notice. If it's target practice, it only lasts once."

All the thief or thieves left was a handwritten note at the scene of the crime that read: "For the sheep, bring peace to the earth."

"Kellogg's Pop Tarts took a further step towards "brand dilution" with the release of its Hello Kitty Pop Tarts.

The new toaster-pastry comes in "Meow Berry" described simply as "Wild Berry Filling". The ingredients list shows dried strawberries, dried apples, and dried pears. The back of the box features a Hello Kitty game.

I suppose the Pop Tarts product is one of those things that has to be reinvented over-and-over just to keep itself from falling into obsolescence in a market that's heavily saturated with gimmicky children's snacks."

And this is speaking as a bad movie fan. I'd almost hope they end up making this simply so someone could give it the MST3K treatment.

So far Richard Hatch seems to be best known for playing a fighter pilot and a political terrorist. He seems to have combined the two in this though....
