Man hides sex toys in sausage for Dubai trip

"Staff at a German butcher's shop were shocked to discover a customer had hidden two sex toys in their sausages for transport to Dubai, police said on Wednesday.

"It was two latex dildos with a natural look," said a spokesman for police in the southwestern city of Mannheim.

After shopping there earlier in the day, the man, who spoke broken English, returned to the butcher's with two large "Schwartenmagen" sausages. He asked a shop assistant to wrap and cool them until he departed for Dubai the next day.

But the assistant noticed the goods had got heavier and alerted police. Officers discovered the man, who was about 50, had removed some of the meat and packed the dildos inside.

"He could have used a loaf of bread," the spokesman said. "It's not against the law here. But obviously I can't speculate on what customs in Dubai will have to say about it."

Chuu Chee Kung (Thai Prawn Curry)

Ingredients

400g Fresh prawns
2 tbsp Thai red curry paste
3 cups Coconut milk
3 Red spur chillies, sliced diagonally
2 Kaffir lime leaves, finely shredded
1/2 cup Sweet basil
2 tbsp Palm sugar
3 tbsp Fish sauce
Sprig of sweet basil and carved red chilli for garnish

Preparation

Wash, shell and de-vein the prawns, leaving the tail on.

In a wok heat 1 cup of coconut milk over medium heat until the oil surfaces, add the curry paste, stir constantly for 2 minutes until fragrant. Gradually add the remining coconut milk. When the mixture starts boiling, add the prawns and cook until done (when they turn pink).

Season to taste with fish sauce and sugar, stir lightly to combine. Then turn off the heat.

Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with shredded kaffir lime leaves, red chillies and sweet basil leaves. Serve with steamed Thai jasmine rice.

I realize it's the so-called "religious right", but still the utter sillyness of this guy's podcast reviews strikes me as stupid.

"A Prairie Home Companion, the news from Lake Wobegon

Given the Baby Boomer and older demographic of the program I was surprised to find the Liberal slanted "wobegon monologs" among those listened to by teenagers. The program originated with American Public Radio, and the traditional liberal slant is obvious. Traditional values and small town life are mocked every week.

Delete it if you see it, but don't panic. It just means your kid likes drivel or dislikes Lutherans."

Funny, PHC usually tends to celebrate small town humour and life.

"Polyamory Weekly

This is easily the most dangerous and socially destructive podcast I've ever heard. The program is about Polyamory, the practice of having multiple sexual partners, provided everyone consents and knows what's going on. It advocates just about every form of perversion you can imagine and the host frequently decries the fact that group marriages aren't legal in the United States.

The program is not the most sexually explicit, nor is it the most offensive. It's dangerous because the program seeks to normalize Homosexuality, Bisexuality, wife swapping, bondage and a host of other unChristian behaviors. They side AGAINST the Mormons who want to legalize underage brides, but if all those Mormon brides are 18 or older, they're all for it.

If your child is listening to Polyamory Weekly, then I recommend you respond as if you'd found deviant magazines in their possession. Do not react with anger, as that will only make matters worse, but respond with Christian love and understanding. Your child has been exposed to dangerous and radical ideas, and needs help with the confusion of ideas that such exposure can create."

You know dude, I know many polys who ARE Christian. For that matter, are far more Christian than you will ever hope to be.

The whole blog has a "the stupid, it burns" feel to it.
