It seems like the more behind Sen. Clinton gets, the worse a minority of her "Supporters" get. Spinning whole fiction out of whole cloth, and embracing any wild-ass rumour if it feeds into their hatred of Sen. Obama.

If he does the wrong thing (to their eyes), they attack him. If he does the right thing, they still attack him. It's a group shrilly willing to slit their own wrists and go against everything they claim to believe in, (and everything Sen. Clinton believes in), if their leader doesn't, by hook or by crook, get the nomination. Damn what McCain actually believes in or how badly he would further damage the country(according to that side at any rate), the important thing to them is that Sen. Obama doesn't win, no matter what it takes.

I swear, if Sen. Obama was to announce a low cost cure for all forms of cancer tomorrow, these "supporters" would be screaming that Obama's biased against Chemotherapy clinics and why does he want to destroy an important segment of the health care industry???

Very true. My hope is that she doesn't even get close to being nominated. And I hope that Obama has the intestinal fortitude to not offer her a sop in the form of the Vice-Presidentcy. That would be a nightmare.

As much as I hate hearing politics being talked about from a pulpit, I secretly thought that that preacher from Obama's former church was spot on and quite funny. "I am white! I am entitled! And there is a black man stealing my show!" Oh Lordy...

It looks like Hillary will be conceding tonight or tomorrow, hopefully with some grace. But sadly, no matter what she says, there will be a segment of her supporters who will go all wingnut and declare that they'd rather vote for McSame.

Every candidate has some of these -- the True Believers (tm) for whom everyone but their chosen is anathema. IMO, hers get more press because she's a Big Name and the media does love them their drama.

Tomorrow, all the gods willing, we can really move on to the real contest.
