Had a seven and a half hour Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid class today.

First off, is it my imagination, or have they massively dummied down the first aid part?

Second off, there was a batch of wanna-be camp counselors who wanted to be ANYWHERE else today

Finally, about half the students (myself included) are going to have to wait to get our cards because ARC - King County screwed up our names.

*faceplant*

On the plus side, Little Bit, (with some help from seattlejo, who rocks), took me to Blue C Sushi in Lynnwood for dinner. I'm an overstuffed gund right now

Make no mistake, they've dumbed down the CPR, too.

Well, they did complicate it slightly by saying if it's an adult who passes out but appears to maybe have been breathing, go straight to chest compressions and stay there for a while.
