Since it was a quiet day, I increased my wiki knowledge by creating three entries on the Caid and An Tir Wikis

The An Tir wiki got entries for myself and Little Bit. The Caid wiki got a short entry about my Pelican, selenesue.

Now comes the fun part. Expanding them

What else would people want to know about someone's SCA career? First event? Offices held? Stupid Peer Tricks?

I deleted my original reply cause it was just TOO long… so sorry about that! Here’s the jist of what I wanted to pass along and is an excerpt from what I sent to Al-Sahid to prepare them for eventually having their page added to the Wiki:

I know this will be a lengthy process, but in preparing for when Shire members will be added to the Compendium I wanted to pass along a link to the Populace listing template so that you can begin work on
what you would like included on your page. It might be a long time before they are ready to include your info but then again, it might take a long time for Shire members to decide what they want included.

One note though about the information you include: You might list your awards but so far I've noticed that the information is replaced by a standard reference to going to the main Order of Precedence website for that information. I'm sure that including all of that information for every person can be very time consuming! So, take a look at this page and consider what you'd like to include so you'll be ready!

Not everything on that page will apply to everyone, and it's not mandatory that you include everything that is on that page. It's just a guide for specific information the editors are looking for.

If you see your name already in the Populace index I'm fairly sure it will be okay for you to go ahead and submit your information since you would already be listed. I'm sure the team will let the populace know when it's okay to send in information for anyone not yet on the Populace list so this should give everyone plenty of time to write up their information.

If you're already listed and you want to submit your info, click on your page then click on discussion and paste the information there. For those who are computer/code savvy you can incorporate your info
with the code (click on the view source code of the populace template page - link below to the page view) then paste your info into the discussion page. (tabs for discussion and view source are above the
information area.

If any of this is confusing let me know and I'll try to better clarify all this. Till then, please go ahead and write your bio!
