There are SO many San Diego "expats" I know of in Portland, Vancouver, and Seattle that someone really needs to open a couple of *.bertos and a Rubios or two to make us feel at home.

There is a Rubio's near where I live in the East Bay (California). But there food doesn't taste anything like the Rubios' down south.

Maybe Mexican food loses its flavor the further it is from the border? ;)
