Idiots on Parade....
Feb. 23rd, 2009 12:54 pmStumbled across this while blogging at Yes To Democracy. It's from the blog of batshit crazy Dr. Orly Taitz, a Dentist/Attorney in Mission Viejo who's one of the main people behind the various lawsuits claiming President Obama is not really a US citizen, is an Indonesian citizen, illegal alien, etc....
She's been trying to find active-duty military personnel to join in one of her lawsuits. Assuming this isn't a line of bullshit, it looks like she finally found someone.

You read that right. He's saying he will not follow the orders given him by a legally-appointed Commander in Chief. AND he's in a war zone to boot.
I suspect his military career is about to come to an end.

To Any and All Interested Parties,
As an active-duty Officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibilty of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the Office of President of The United States. He has absolutely refused to provide to the American public his original birth certificate, as well as other documents which may prove or disprove his eligibility. In fact, he has fought every attempt made by concerned citizens in their effort to force him to do so.
Until Mr. Obama releases a "vault copy" of his original birth certificate for public review, I will consider him neither my Commander in Chief nor my President, but rather, a usurper to the Office - an impostor.
My conviction is such that I am compelled to join Dr. Orly Taitz's lawsuit, as a plaintiff, against Mr. Obama. As a citizen, it pains me to do this, but as an Offficer, my sworn oath to support and defend our Constitution requires this action.
I joined the Army at age 40, after working in Iraq as a contractor with KBR in '05/'06. I chose to work with KBR to support my troops and then left that lucrative position when the Army raised it's maximum enlistment age to 40. Upon completion of Basic Training, I entered Officer Candidate School and commissioned as a 2LT in August 2007. After completing the subsequent Basic Officer Leadership courses, I was assigned to Ft. Knox and shortly therafter deployed to Balad, Iraq. I was promoted to 1LT on Feb. 2, 2009 and I have approximately five months remaining of our fifteen month deployment.
I implore all Service-members and citizens to contact their Senators and Representatives and demand that they require Mr. Obama prove his eligibility. Our Constitution and our great nation must not be allowed to be disgraced.
Very Respectfull,
Scott R. Easterling

Date: 2009-02-23 11:12 pm (UTC)Mind you, if you ask for a copy of your birth certificate in Hawaii, the COLB is what you get. The "vault copy" is only provided on request to prove native hawaiian ancestry for Department of Hawaiian Homelands.
The belief among the birthers is that the COLB shown by the Obama camp is a forgery, even though, again, it was confirmed as valid by the State of Hawaii. However, two nameless internet "experts", Polarik and TechDude, have claimed it as a forgery and the birthers believe that to be the case.

Date: 2009-02-25 09:23 pm (UTC)If he genuinely feels that Obama is not his legally-instated commander, then he should resign his commission and fight Obama from within the system. If he feels that the system is corrupt and therefore needs to be replaced, he's making a rather bad strategic and tactical error in starting his campaign with troops who, like himself, are about ten thousand miles away from the region he wishes to influence.
I'm inclined to agree that his military career stands a good chance of being shorter than he originally planned. Then again, didn't his previous Commander in Chief have the habit of signing laws then stating he had no intention of ever obeying them? Perhaps he is taking that for his example.
