(One of my favourite movies - but one I have to be in a particular frame of mind to watch - and the music almost always makes me cry in places. And the SF Musem here in Seattle has one of the last remaining domes. I'm not sure how I'll react to seeing that.)

I have a soft spot for Silent Running, since it was one of the first non-kiddy movies my parents took me to see (the first was "2001: A Space Odyssey" at the Cinerama Dome, when I was 8).

Looking at the wikipedia page for the film...now I know why the agro-ships on BSG reminded me of this film ;-).
