Ever wanted Cornish Pasty Potato Crisps?? Then go find The Lusty Pirate

“My new Cornish Pasty Flavour Crisps will have you completely hooked. I like crisps and I love me pasties so I’ve combined the two and come up with some proper treasures. I got my shipmates to dig up some of the finest potatoes (Cornish of course when the seasons allow) and then we magic’d up the exciting flavours... slicing and hand cooking them in Sunflower oil until the golden beauties are done to a turn. A proper job!

Open the packet and... shiver me timbers... you’re met with the aroma of real Cornish Pasties... take a bite, they taste like a Cornish Pasty! Anyhows... ships ahoy, so I’m upping anchor and sailing down Penzance way with my shipmates to cause some more mischief on the high seas and capture some more treasures for you to try out in the future. Be seeing you me’ansome. Lusty."

This amuses me on a folkloric level. One does NOT bring a pasty aboard a sailing ship because it is Landsman's food. Stargazy pie, with fishies heads and tails sticking out, that's all right.

After looking at pictures of a "Stargazy pie", the goldfish cracker jingle ("...the snack that smiles back...") is running though my head
