Low on garb
Dec. 30th, 2002 04:28 pmWhile trying to decide if I have garb good enough to wear to 12th Night in Caid, (unoffical motto: "Welcome to Caid, now get dressed!"), I realized something.
If everyone in the last 5 years that had promised to make me garb in return for fixing their computer, helping them with a project, friendship, love, etc., had actually *kept* their word on this, I'd have a considerably larger wardrobe. Since I don't have the time or a place to set up my sewing machine and actually make garb anymore, I was kinda relying on those promises. In some cases, I even got the fabric for them. Sigh.
I think I should have known better, and realized that the majority of people don't keep their promises. Oh well. I'll have to see if:
a) Chivary Sports can deliver by the end of the week, or
b) Decide if 12th night is just too much of a hassle and bother to go to, and stay home. I still haven't seen the new Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings movie.
