Someone needs to tell the young lady wandering around the dealers room that two strips of black duct tape or electrical tape up the front, over the curve of the breast, across the nipples, and ending at the collarbone is not a costume. Basically, she was wearing tight fantasy pants, elf ears. and two strips of strategically placed duct tape

You know you hang around too many makeup people when your first comment on seeing the green Orion Slave Girl is wondering how they kept the makeup from rubbing off on the costume.

Overheard: "He doesn't seem like a bad person, why did you say he's an asshole?" "Oh, he's not an asshole yet, only after he graduates law school."

Good news - the convention centre actually had WiFi / Airport wireless connections thoughout the entire con. Bad news - the bandwidth was so swamped that I was only able to connect outside of the centre once. Rendezvous and iChat worked well in the con. however. Got into a chat from a game room with someone in the dealer's room that way.

Seeing friends was nice.

LOL I've been at cons and had all these thoughts. The worst ones being the ones you didn't mention. About the "con rat guys" that couldn't get laid by the women at the con if their lives depended on it. Blessed Be, Angelique
