Sony Idiot Update

patgundWell, the badly trained monkeys people at Sony decided that yes, the SDT-9000 DAT drive was defective, and sent me a replacement.
A SDT-7000. You know, the model that they had been sending me the info on, despite the fact that the defective drive was a 9000.
At that point, I didn't lose my temper. I abandoned it.
They promice to have a replacement for the replacement here tomorrow.
I'm not holding my breath that it will be the right drive.
You know, I think I made a mistake by calling these people monkeys. Most primates would be much smarter than this.
