I wrote this over a year ago. Some times, I feel things never change........

Pie Crust Promises -

Pie Crust Promises are easy to make,
First, sift in some flour,
And flowers, and hope.
Then you add some sugar,
Sweetness, acceptance.
Add the spices,
such as passion, and desire,
and dreams, and love.
Then crack in some eggs,
And add your heart in with the shells,
Add your trust in with the shards.
Roll them together,
Crushing your dreams and desires,
out with the dough.
Line with the shell of your heart
And bake in the embers of your hopes
Pie Crust Promises are easy to make,
And even more easy to break....
