Stopped by the 99 Ranch Market down here in SD last night.

Noticed that they were carrying, (or at least had the price codes for) both chicken and duck Balut.

I'm not sure this is a good thing.

No, scratch that. I'm fairly certain that this is not a good thing.

It's a Fillipino delicacy. And dear, will you please trust me on this when I say that you really, really, really *DON'T* want to know the details about it. Especially not with your tummy being difficult.

E-mail me with the gory details. You know me; I could be eating dinner and still not get squicked out. Used to eat lunch during parasitology -- if that doesn't bequeath one with an iron stomach, I'm not sure what does.

Eating lunch during Microbiology lab, however, is just asking for trouble. Caught my one case of Salmonella that way.
