patgundWell, still looks like I'm going to Las Vegas this weekend. The person I was going to catch a ride with had to bow out due to scheduling conflicts, so I'll have to drive by myself. So not only a room by myself, but a long drive. Need to get a transpod for the iPod so I can have my music going up. (also need a USB cable for my cell phone)
And the room has two queen sized beds, because of the deal I got. (laugh) I'll be rattling around there like peas in a pod.
I hate long distance driving. Oh well. Maybe I can stop in Barstow and visit their Route 66 museum on friday. Or get to Vegas early, check in, and go see Pirates of the Carribean. Or veg. Or something.
Which means I need to pack garb suitable for a desert event tonight or tomorrow. Bother. Also need to pack something for a friend of mine out there.
Oh, and Newsweek is visiting the lab tomorrow. And almost nobody's going to be here. Fun.
