Me, my lab's rep in CS, (who used to have my job), and the main AV geek for the institute just got emails from the lab boss. Seems she volunteered to host a WS educational conference, and wants all three of us to be in the lab from 8am to 5pm tohold her dammed hand for it. The date for this? A Saturday. To be exact, Saturday, August 30th. Which happens to be the start of a bloody three-day weekend !!!!
Which means any plans I had, (like, oh, maybe September War, or spending a long weekend with Little Bit, or anything other than being in this place), for that weekend are now on hold. Gee, sure glad I decided not to go to Torcon after all, getting my planefare back would be such a pain.
Newsflash, oh clueless one, just be cause you don't have a life outside of the dammed lab doesn't mean everyone else doesn't either.
I suspect tomorrow's meeting is going to be interesting........
