patgundOkay, at this point, barring last minute emergencies, I'm looking to head out to ConDFW in Feb. of 2004.
Since I need to request vacation time fairly soon, I'm trying to decide if the idea of going out on the evening Thursday, Feb. 19th, (or morning of Feb. 20th) and staying until sometime around Feb. 29th or so is doable. (The other idea is coming out on Tuesday the 17th, and returning to SD Tuesday the 24th)
Right now I'm thinking of getting a room at the con hotel for the days of the con, and staying with some friends, (assuming that would be okay), during the rest of the trip. Or get a few nights at a motel during the non-con days and renting a car.
Any ideas or input?
