patgundJust got back from seeing Little Bit. Most of the Montclair/Ontario area was covered in smoke from that huge brush fire to the north. (They're far enough from the hills that actual damage to the house shouldn't be a problem. Smoke and ash are another matter completely.) They have a place to go if things get too bad there though.
Just as I'm about to head back to SD, I found out that there's another massive brush fire - near my house. Right now I'm in my office, getting back to Lakeside may not be possible quite yet. I-8 is closed at the exit I take to get home, for example, and at last report, there were fires burning two canyons over.
And, to top it all off, I got ran off the road, and there may be some damage to the cooling fan of my car. Just ducky.
Update - My neighborhood has been evacuated, Large amounts of no fun.
